Projects
Several themes and causes fascinate me. I am in love with trees and want to see them standing and healthy, I hope to transform Brazil into the country in which dialogues happen the most, I believe that if we could look at each other the same way we look at a tree or the sunset, the world would be a much nicer place. Here, I introduce projects that inspire me and invite you to a dialogue.
APPRECIATION PROJECT
The practice of Appreciation has the power to make our lives more relaxed, creative, gratifying and joyful, releasing hormones such as oxytocin and increasing our capacity for empathy and mindful presence. This project offers appreciation circles, workshops, talks and retreats on how to lead a more appreciative life in your relationships, work, family, communities and with yourself.
COLLAB: COLLABORATION AND SOCIAL INNOVATION LAB
Collab came into the world to create a culture of facilitation and participatory processes in organizations, communities and societies. It aims to connect and build capacity among people who see themselves as change agents through dialogue and public participation. We create opportunities for facilitators to gather, meet, build together, learn, share dilemmas, spread knowledge and serve the world. It takes place through collective learning journeys, sharing of methodologies, case studies and facilitator mentoring.
SUBVERSIVE DIALOGUES
In societies as divisive as the ones currently present in many countries, dialogue is an act of rebellion. To make yourself available to sit with difference and connect through dialogue is an act of resistance against overwhelming messages of hate and fear and an important path to building more equitable and inclusive societies. The Subversive Dialogues Project, which could also be called Civic Dialogues, aims to occupy public spaces (squares, parks, schools, sports centres) for the gathering of community members so they can meet and discuss issues of common interest, creating constructive spaces for divergence, multiple points of view and social transformation, with an original methodology available for public use.
2000 FACILITATORS
The Sustainable Development Goals represent a challenge and a great opportunity to build a shared project of a prosperous humanity by 2030. Due to their great degree of interdependence and indivisibility, facilitators hosting dialogues and the design of public policies focused on the implementation of the SDGs require specific skills, such as a systemic view, complexity management, win-win proposition generation, and skills in listening and empathy. The 2000 Facilitators Project aims to develop skills for dialogue agents across the world to implement the SDGs, supporting governments, organizations, communities and people.
1 MILLION TREES
Several studies show the benefits that our green friends deliver to urban dwellers - from well-being to lowering depression and illness, increasing a sense of belonging in communities, reducing violence, and embellishing our streets. The 1 Million Trees Project aims to promote conscious, healthy tree-planting in urban areas in Brazil and around the worl to improve quality of life, health and social relations in communities.
